It’s time for a change.

After two happy and fulfilling years of living out The Millstone Brand’s mission… celebrating honest food and thoughtful cooking, we are deeply saddened to share with you that The Millstone Cafe and Bakery has closed its doors.  While The Millstone Brand succeeded so beautifully in so many ways, we regret that it ultimately was not able to succeed as a business.  We know from experience that it takes time to build a strong business and despite our greatest efforts, the effects of the current economic conditions have not afforded us the time and resources that are required for us to continue.

This has been a painstaking yet unavoidable decision for us, especially as we consider the incredible staff that helped build our dream, and you, our loyal guests.

It has been a fun and exciting time.  Seeing our concept come to life on Main Street in Kent has been a very rewarding challenge.

As we transition to our next endeavor, we would like to close this chapter on a high note that celebrates our journey.
